Erik in ‘t Groen has extensive turnaround experience, offering advice, hands-on operational improvement solutions and stakeholder management.

Currently working with Kruger, a leading ‘hands on’ firm of professionals specialized in supporting mid-market companies with strategic focus and improving financial performance, and through Business Consultancy, Corporate Finance and Interim Management.

Erik studied Business Economics at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, and Business Administration at Nyenrode Business University before embarking on a career in banking. During his eight years at Rabobank, he was for four years responsible for a portfolio of companies in distress where he gained considerable experience and insight in the world of companies, bankers and investors.

He is co-author of a 'survival guide' for companies which find themselves in distress. Erik is also in much demand as a lecturer and runs workshops on how to achieve a successful turnaround. Alongside his work, Erik is involved in various social and community projects.
