Half-price EACTP application fee offer for TMA NextGen members
The European Association of Certified Turnaround Professionals (EACTP) has announced a new membership incentive for all TMA NextGen members.
The EACTP is offering a 50 per cent reduction in its initial application fee for any NextGen member who applies to become an EACTP Associate - a saving of £225 or €270.
In order to apply as an Associate member, applicants need to provide one case study of a turnaround in which they demonstrated significant influence over the outcome. They will also be interviewed by two EACTP members.
Ian Gray, Chair of the EACTP's Standards and Admissions Committee, said: "One of the aims of our accreditation scheme is to help encourage and cultivate turnaround practitioners in the early stages of their careers to give them educational opportunities and the chance to develop as professionals.
"This incentive is a great way for EACTP to support the next generation of turnaround practitioners coming through TMA's thriving NextGen programme."
The EACTP has created the first European-wide accreditation programme for all turnaround professionals across the continent to provide an industry standard of quality in the practice of turnaround and restructuring.
Earlier this year it announced it was to extend its admission by experience only until 30 June this year. From next year all applicants will need to pass professional examinations in addition to demonstrating their turnaround experience.
Mr Gray, who is also on the board of TMA UK, added: "Becoming a member of EACTP gives you a professional edge. The globally-recognised CTP accreditation not only offers prospective clients an instantly recognisable assurance of turnaround experience but attests to a level of expertise that non-certified professionals may find difficult to prove.
"I would urge members of NextGen to apply now to take advantage of this membership incentive, and also the extended window of opportunity to join our pioneering turnaround accreditation programme without having to take professional exams."
Members of any European TMA chapter are also eligible for a reduction in the EACTP annual membership fee of up to £200/€250.
