Ioana Necula is the founder of International Leasing Group, which she established 25 years ago, group which became Romexterra Finance after she restructured her leasing company with the first good bank bad bank model in Romania during 2009-2913. After that she is conducting a business that is providing both restructuring services and finance for companies that are in different distress situations.

She graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, specialized in International Economic Relations. She holds an MBA from Solvay Business School – Brussels. She is a member of the National Union of Insolvency Practitioners of Romania and she also served as President of the Romanian Leasing Association and was involved in consultancy procedures that shaped leasing legislation.

In december 2014, Ioana has become member and part of the TMA Board (Turnaround Management Association Romania)
