Sachan is a highly experienced corporate advisor with over 14 years of expertise across a broad range of engagements, including restructuring and turnaround strategies, corporate administration, receiverships, lender-borrower negotiations, distressed debt management, and transaction advisory services.

He has successfully led numerous complex restructuring and turnaround projects, both single and multi-lender, working closely with businesses, financial institutions, and investors to develop and implement effective rescue strategies. His experience spans debt and financial restructuring and balance sheet optimization, ensuring organizations regain financial stability and long-term sustainability. He has also been instrumental in negotiating effective standstill periods, “new money” arrangements, and debt serviceability assessments.

Sachan’s approach is swift yet thorough, combining financial analysis with a deep understanding of operational and financial challenges to identify practical solutions, craft clear action plans, and align all stakeholders. He has played a key role in designing and executing restructuring frameworks that enhance cash flow management, improve capital structures, and restore stakeholder confidence.

Currently, Sachan is a Director at Baker Tilly – Kenya and a member of Baker Tilly International’s Insolvency & Restructuring Committee.

He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and holds a BSc in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University.
